Be The Sea Of Change!

Mother Earth is angry and the ocean reflects its displeasure mirroring the injustice in her waters and sky.

The rock guised as monsters reckoning with earth; bound by greed, no bounderies of caste or creed,

but not defining me.

Denying climate change, pain and suffering while the haves and the have nots, don’t measure up.

It’s not too late, so listen up folks.  I won’t and can’t hold this anger, nor should you,

but I will merge with Grandmother Earth and Grandfather Sky and

protect her and be the sea of change.

Will you  join me?

Hi Friends,

I’m struck by dark nights that haunt us on so many levels right now and this picture of Jason’s evoked such powerful feelings. The light is beckoning us so no matter what you are going through. Remember things get worse before they get better and when you think you can’t go on, take one moment at a time, one breath at at time. We’re is this together and we will get through this; stronger and brighter than ever before, united once again, take a stand.

As always, thanks for reading and please like (if you do our course), comment and or share.

So much love and blessings,

  1. Very true, Nature is alive and talking to us.We all did things which ruined the mother earth continuously and thus we got this virus in return. Loved this piece, it was very nicely penned. Stay blessed and I know you are the ocean of ‘change ‘πŸ’•πŸ˜Š

    1. It sure is talking to us In so many ways and I do hope we listen… I’m so glad you liked it and I so appreciate you sharing your kind thoughts with me Dulcy!!! You too and we together will be the change we want to see! ❀️❀️❀️

  2. This was true at so many levels Cindy. We are plagued with selfishness and jealousy so much and so that it is getting manifested in forms of all ignorance. It’s sad that people believe that there would be another planet that they can live on. If one cannot keep their own home clean, how will they respect someone else’s home. Loved your poetry and Jason’s picture. πŸ˜‡

    1. I really appreciate your comments here Kumar. Yes, that is so true, jealousy breeds more division of self and then others. Yes, keep our homes clean and planet and seas. Thank you for sharing and expanding on those truths. I’m glad you liked the poetry Kumar. Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts. ❀️ Cindy

  3. Lovely reminder Cindy. I hope someday we find it in our hearts to respect nature and each other enough to protect and live in respectful harmony. πŸŽ€πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’πŸŒ³πŸŒ»πŸ¦“πŸ¦œ

  4. Hopefully , renewable energy projects and planting trees as well are great for mitigating circumstances…
God bless our world with justice, love and Godly righteousness .

  5. A fervent message Cindy β€οΈπŸ’– Do hope we understand and realize what we are going through is the reaction of our stimulus. And these reactions will do so much harm that we don’t even register. It’s high time for us to act and be the change.
    Take care πŸ™‚β€οΈ

  6. Such a timely post you are so right about holding the anger etc. we must become the alchemy.πŸ™β€οΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

  7. That’s quite a very inspiring piece cindy..!😍😍
    Also the capture is gorgeous..!πŸ’ž

Such a powerful insight this one reflectsπŸ₯°πŸ₯°

  8. Beautiful photo and poem, Cindy! <3 And a desparately needed message…What seems so obvious to most people seems lost on some of our leaders. We are experiencing climate change which threatens to destroy our world, and it seems that greed and a lust for power is overriding common sense and common decency. I have voted and am hoping for the best! πŸ™‚

    Take care, Cheryl

    1. Thank you so much Cheryl! I couldn’t agree with you more. It truly is so obvious to most of us, you’re right and it’s hard to understand when it is undenialble by what we witness. Fingers and Toes crossed on this one!
      Have a great day❣️

  9. So lovely your truth and beautifully put Cindy. We certainly do our part trying to protect mother earth. We generate only one can of trash per year. We compost, catch rain water, recycle everything we can and watch packaging, etc. We built a little field of dreams in the way of a bee and butterfly garden and this year the milk weed brought the Monarchs, we were like kids at Christmas time. I applaud you for your beautifully penned poetic statement and hope that more will follow. Count us in. Love your message. Blessings to you and to your loved ones my friend. Joni

    1. Oh this touches me deeply coming from you such a beautiful poet. Thank you so much Joni! You get an A+ for all of your work to give back to our earth as well but I feel like there is always more I could do. What a treat those Monarchs must have been! That is so cool! That reminds me that I need to tend to the garden. We will stand together here on all of this for sure. Have a beautiful weekend with your loved ones as well!!! β€οΈπŸ€— xo Cindy

      1. You are too kind my friend. We too feel like we need solar but we don’t need more then a 800 square foot house and we want to downsize from this house and move to the mountains. Sounds like you do plenty my friend. You have a beautiful blog and I look forward to reading much more of your wise words. Love ❀️ Joni πŸ€—πŸ’•β€οΈ

      2. Down sizing sounds so appealing to me too and living off the grid. It’s a good time with prices dropping to think about that. I agree with you on having solar.. It’s always on my radar! you are a dear one and I appreciate you. Thank you so much for your admiration. I am honored and feel the same way about you!!!! ❀️ Cindy

  10. Nice poetry Cindy! In all honesty, plastic waste and dangerous gases have wrecked more havoc on mother nature than previous times of wars. People recover, people rebuild but the way we continue to encourage nylons and disposables that could literally spend 500 years decomposing is bewildering. At least, I understand the concept of going electric and using renewable energy, that’ll definitely take a while but you see, this thing called plastic waste can be changed to degradable waste if stakeholders made it serious concern. Well, I guess they’re only here to make their pockets fatter and at the expense of unborn generations…

    1. Thanks for your comment Ero!!! yes, you are so right and It does appear so regulations are being forced which is a good thing. i know and the poor sea life but we can work towards changig that and must, You totally get this in travel etc and your work. It’s great to hear from you here!!! Thanks so much. ❀️ Cindy

      1. Yep, you show up as following – I follow you too πŸ˜€ I post a bit sporadically, though I aim for two per week, depends what I shoot or find interesting – you never know!

      2. oh good. I think that is perfect. I liked when I did 2, 3 is a stretch and more than that is way too much to manage. My pet pieve is seeing 3-10 posts a day by the same person. Of course I don’t have to read but I’m a loyal follower.. I just don’t have time to read and respond to that much. I post Mon, Wed. Fri so you know but always think I might drop Friday. We shall see. β€οΈπŸ‘

    1. Hi Navin! How nice to meet you here. Thank for the kind comment and follow. I just saw your lovely site and tried to follow but I don’t use email as I try to protect my inbox of influx. Can you activate reader by chance. πŸ™ Cindy

      1. Hi Cindy, the pleasure is mine. Nice meeting you as well. You should be able to follow my site right away as I haven’t deactivated reader or anything. If not, please visit & hit follow. You should be able to receive notification in Reader. Let me know if it works….Else I’ll check the settings πŸ™βœ¨

      2. Hey… I just tried both but no luck! Usually there is a close and accept button first but you don’t have that there. When I hit follow I can’t open, it just flashes but doesn’t open.. Nothing appears that I can do anything on my end and I have my assistant with me on zoom as well. Keep me posted.

      3. Oh that’s quite weird…perhaps you need to clear the cache or use a different browser…just a couple of minutes back, a blogger started following my site…hoping you would be able to follow my site…I’m already grateful that you’re trying your best….my gratitude….let me know if it doesn’t works….I’ll try to send you an invite then πŸ™

      4. Keep me posted as my assistant says he got in when he went in on my site to follow you but my computer doesn’t show it. So odd. You’re most welcome! ❀️

  11. The tide is a special go-to place for me… a place to which my legs and my words often return.
In fact, my own tides are shifting hugely right now…
    and reaching out,
like tentacles made of ripple and plankton lights and half-written poetry,
looking for open skies and hugs.

    1. Oh this is beautiful and I too find respite in the tide as we reach to light, words and open skies and hugs.. beautifully expressed! Hugs to you! ❀️ and thanks for stopping in and sharing! πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€— Cindy
