Night Falls, Cat calls
The Toms are out tonight.
Moon Shines, It’s that time….
Ghosts, Goblins ,warwolves, vampires, witches,
sharpen their teeth and concoct their brew,
To hear us scream and and whine!
Pumpkins at the door to welcome us,
but sadly we can’t knock and say Trick or Treat & Chime,
Happy Halloween to all of you big and little kiddies in Covid Time!
Have a good night and don’t let the bed bugs bite.

Have a spooky fun night or day whatever you do and wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping in for some tricks and treats. Halloween was always
special at my Mom and Stepdad’s where we gathered everyone from town (about 20 of us) and headed to my Mom’s house 15 minutes away where we had dinner and walked her flat streets with all of the kids and adults. We have such fond memories and sad all the kids can’t be out tonight but someday again. Thank you mom and Bob for those special memories.

awww thanks….that is Star (Stargazer, just she stayed under the barn and looked at me with those big green eyes terrified…Loong story there but she was my feral ( I had 4 ratters) after years and one year gone, I brought her in.. not easy but now she sleeps in my bed every night under the covers.. lol ❤️🎃❤️

Happy Halloweenie to you! 🎃🧡🎃🧡 My street doesn’t have sidewalks, so nary a trick or treater to be seen. But always had fun when my kids were smallish and look forward to seen pics of the grandlittles too.
oh thanks!!!!! 🎃mine is like that too which is why we went to my moms but about 8 years ago they created something in town which is nice. Yes, it was a fun time they loved so much. We live so far out in the boonies that we have never seen a trick-or-treater here, much to Peggy’s dismay, Being a retired elementary school principal, she misses the kiddos. Oh us too and I can imagaine Peggy would miss the cute little kiddos dressing up. I got out about as much as was on the table. Lol. I’ve just gotten where I don’t want more stuff out. Very cute! We used to always say. sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite. I heard the saying sleep tight came from the days when they had ropes stretched under the straw ticks and ever so often they had to tighten the ropes to have a nice firm bed!

Thank you!!! Her name is Star; full name Stargazer. She was our feral and used to look at the stars and moon as she hid under the barn. She went missing for 18 mon or so and we saw her in the field on Halloween 2 years ago. Slowly, we brought her in.. 👏👏I so love her. Thanks you and you are too kind to ask. Oh thanks Diane. Too funny and Dwight told a little story in the comments about the bed bugs. There were actual hay beds and the had to pull the strings to make the ticks tight . He saw one in a museum. Just a little fu.n Fact he shared. Waiting to say to again when the grandkids come (maybe someday)💕
