Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Count Your Blessings and Watch Them Multiply

Sending you all a little blessing from nature today, especially for those of you who are stuck in the house and or confined. This is a little sample of my daily meanderings as I work. Such beautiful creatures I get to interact with everyday, and I’m particularly happy visiting them at my clients houses, since I have detoured them out of my yard so they don’t destroy my garden. This is in a protected community in Portola Valley Ranch in Portola Valley, Ca. where animals roam freely and safe. They are grateful to be spared on Turkey Day and send their appreciation and empathy to others who will be dinner. Gobble, Gobble.

Hunkering down peacefully as we stand by: Might this be Vixon?
Here’s Hunter, my Husky Shepherdrd. He’s the most loving docile dog in the world but he will take a deer down. I got him to protect my little dogs on my property since a coyote ate my 16 year old Moulukan Cockatoo. It was such a sad day and I still mourn his death. Who’d have guessed he could take down a deer though. I was worried at first thinking he might take other dogs down but my vet assured me that he knows the difference between domestic and wild animals, but was faster than any husky shepherds he has know. He is thankfully wise as well, knock on wood, and doesn’t fall prey to the coyotes trying to taunt him off property.

Thank you Hunter for protecting Lady and Harry! We wish we had you, when Cinnabar, our Moulukan Cockatoo and Pickle were alive!!!!!

Beautiful Bounty of color from nature!
May your Thanksgiving be blessed with love, abundance, good cheer and happiness as you count your blessings.

Here comes Dancer and Prancer and Comet and Vixon. The babies are looking for Rudolph to lead the way!

Blessed are we to share the earth with divine creatures of our universe and each other, as we continue to support one another in whatever we are going through in life. However you spend your holiday, enjoy the bounty of the season and each other. My 2 kids are getting tested before they come and for the first time in 40 years we will NOT be hosting Thanksgiving with our parents and siblings and cousins. Weather permitting, we will have turkey sandwiches on the deck in our pods the day after hopefully, and toast to our health, abundance and plant a tree to honor the one we lost and our earth for better days to come. With parents 85, 86, 91 & 94 we are being mindful and safe. It’s such a reminder to be creative and open to embracing life as we find it and making the most of situations adapting to whatever life hands us and not be thrown off our center.

Stay Strong and Stay Safe.

Love and Blessings

❤️🙏

Cindy

Dear Cindy, Beautiful pictures of all different kind of living creatures….wow, you’re able to be near to so many of them….your photos & words bring peace & calmness in me….that’s simply amazing….my son loves husky in general….he says when he’ll be an adult (he’s almost 8 yrs), he will have 6 dogs….he’s always loved all kinds of animals….your pictures & love reminded of his love towards animals….our small family has 2 siamese cats, one labradoodle & 6 chickens (/hens)….plus we are 4 humans in this family….several years back we had 2 rabbits as well….the beauty is the way he shows his love to them, they get attached to him very quickly….thanks for a wonderful sharing ❤️

It’s my pleasure Cindy….haha, I told him those 6 dogs will eat crazy amount of food & then all the training….he says, “I don’t care, I would still love to have 6 dogs…they’ll protect me…and Btw daddy, you’ll be buying the food”….🤣….mI couldn’t stop laughing & giving him kisses….he’s simply so funny & cute….we had to also put a fence around the hen house to protect them from fox….I’m blessed with my family….I think I’ve missed your “Fri-yay” post….had been sick….and this reader shows only latest….but good you wrote “visiting today”….that made me think 😊….have wonderful & peaceful moments ❤️✨

I’m just thankful that I was able to find my way here. Cindy! It was a torturous route, but I found some interesting things along the way. 🙂
First I clicked on your little icon that you left on one of my posts when you hit up the Like button (thanks for that). That took me to your Gravatar. I had no idea that you were so blonde and fit and so that was a nice stopping point. I read all about you (life coach – interesting!) and then looked at the link for your website. It looked broken but I clicked on it anyway. And found that indeed it was broken. But I’m smart, and so I fixed it (you should do the same on your Gravatar though – not everyone is as clever as me). I removed the character after the www and put a dot in instead (so that http://wwwluniquelyfit.net/ became http://www.uniquelyfit.net/) and then hit enter. Voila – a web page appeared! So, again I’m learning stuff here – I didn’t even know that you had a health and wellness facility! I moseyed around there for a while and then noticed a link to a blog. Here’s hoping, I thought to myself. One click later and I was there (here)! Great journey, Cindy – thanks for that. I have a new-found appreciation of you and what you do. 🙂
Hope (but I know) that you’re having a great day.
Robert.

Haha – nope, no turkey here – we’re vegan. 🙂 Plus, we’re the people that you became independent from (I think) and so it’s like the opposite of a holiday here. 😀 (You know I’m totally joking, right?)

Happy thanksgiving to you and your family . What beautiful photos and your beautiful sentiments on giving thanks . Brought to mind a poem by Rumi I would like to share with you.it is called The Guest house
This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival
A joy a depression,a meanness,
Some momentary
awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor
Welcome and entertain them all
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house
Empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably
He may be clearing you out of some new delight
The dark thought,the shame,the malice
Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes
Because each has been sent as a guide from beyond
Reminds me to be grateful for all things as everything can be a learning experience 💕❤️
Blessings to you

Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your critters and blessings. I think every morning how fortunate I am to live where I can get outside in our beautiful backyard with our cat, little dog, all the birds, our trees, and even enjoy the pack of coyotes that comes by yapping nearly every night. We are so much luckier than the people who are stuck in apartments. Plus I am so thankful for all of you out there, all my new friends I talk to on line every day who are so wonderful and helpful in every way.
