Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Leaves floating in the whispering wind,

Each with a story,

Dancing to kiss the light,

One last time before descending to Mother Earth.

The shadows exposing darkness, while their remaining colors make their way to the heart,

Falling in pure ecstasy, branches reach for the light.

To all that was and all that will be,

Leaves floating in the whispering wind,

Filling each vessel when things get dark, each crevice to incite light.

Once whole and bright, blessed and now returned to dust,

as we hear them crunch under our feet, as fall begins,

And delight in jumping in the leaves like a child where everything’s right.

Enjoy the gifts of fall!

❤️

Cindy

When the night comes or the sky turns gray ,
The sky showers us to grow and stay ,
alive and happy in every way ,
To God we sway , that every sun ray ,
Would shine again and clear the clouds away ,
So you could see to  never get astray ,
Divinity gets us to pay ,
attention that everything we get  through ,
has a silver lining every  night
and   day …
You say good morning ,
“Tommorow is another day ” for a melody to  play …
The rainy days of April shower flowers of May …( as said… )

Hi Cindy, You captured the heart of fall for me – the color and crunch of leaves. They are so beautiful, and I enjoy them even after they become leaf mold in the garden. I learned this year that leaves are one of the most fertile amendments you can add to your garden soil. 🙂

Beautifully written, and as I look out my window at the different colored leaves on our trees they have a very special brilliance this year . I find the brisk air so exhilarating as my husband likes the house at eighty degrees i duck out every little while to cool off😂

Once whole and bright, blessed and now returned to dust,

Beautiful lines Cindy….each one has so much depth….but I like this bit the most….
It means a lot to me….I am thinking of how short our time here is….about the seasons in our lives….how every phase is a season….and how we must fulfill our destiny even if it means dying to return life….by becoming dust….

Enjoyed your poem Cindy….
