Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Treasured Moments of far off lands in your own backyard take you home.
There is no distance in hearts that love. All the faces I have known come smiling
back at me as I ring the bell or spin the sacred Prayer Wheel”.

Cindy

Buddha Medicine Land.

Prayer Wheel with my friend Debbie in Santa Cruz, Calififornia

Strip away the illusion of who you think you are and enter the space of love and connection of all beings everywhere. This safe haven in Santa Cruz, California welcomes all to the land of open heartfelt connections. Just 1 hour south of San Francisco, be transported to your souls deepest desires. Feel the earth move under your feet and the echo of the great teachings of the Buddah, blessed by the Dali Lama amongest many other monks and those that live on the property.

Teachings that inspire and infuse our being as we Bless ourselves and others with love and kindness.
May health and happiness be available for ourselves and all beings everywhere.

Magic is found at every turn of the junction, while hiking this sacred beautiful land.

Everywhere you walk fills your heart, open your senses, quiets your mind, as you become one with nature.

Sound permeates your soul, igniting the light of the love of who your are, stripping away false illusions, raising your frequency.

And finally a stop at the gift shop for a treasure to bring home to remind me to come to my bell and stop daily to ring in the song of my heart, that’s always there if I only stop to listen.

Thanks stopping in and sharing this secret hidden treasure with me. When we stop to share our experiences in life they reinfuse our spirit and keep them alive; which was the unexpected gift of this post; so much appreciation for visiting.

Sounds great 🤩 there were some Buddhist temples near where we lived in Spain, but they all got closed due to covid.

The place is so peaceful. In India, there is a place called Bodh Gaya which is the place where Buddha gained enlightenment and this place gives off the same vibes.

Happy weekend!!!!

These pictures are so beautiful Cindy!!!💟💟💟
In India, there is a place called Bodh Gaya where Buddha attained enlightenment beneath a sacred Bodhi Tree, the tree’s descendants are still there!!! That place is just beautiful and calm

And to think that would have been an easy drive for me five months ago, Cindy. But did I know you then? How strange life is. I would love to have come visit and see some of the beautiful places I’ve missed. You friend’s stone story touched me. Vince put up a stone during our walk a few days ago. The next day it was still there, but a couple of days later, someone had moved all the stones. He was quite sad about it. Have a wonderful weekend, Cindy. Talk to you soon. 🙂

I have talked him into coming back to CA in May. We will see if he holds out Otherwise, I’d love to come in April and photograph all the roses at the Woodlake Rose Garden. Our Kiwanis group worked so hard on it this winter, it is going to be spectacular.

Certainly looks like a beautiful place to me, Cindy. Both naturally and spiritually. The natural world always seems to add a special aspect of sacred that is not found in traditional Western churches where so much emphasis has been put on conquering nature as opposed to learning to live in harmony with it. Thanks for this delightful post. –Curt

Makes me think of Esalen, Cindy. Every time I drive by it, I think, “Damn, I’d like to spend some time there,” but never have. It has great appeal to the ‘New Ager’ in me. 🙂 –Curt
