Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

We’re finally getting a little much needed rain which we desperately need. I know some of you are up to your eye balls in storms and snow and enjoying bursts of color after such a cold season. It’s too bad we can’t spread the wealth and have equal playing time so we’re not either flooding or in a drought. It’s always all or nothing.

My friend/ dog trainer came over for a visit with his dogs this week and they didn’t mind the cold and to my surprise jumped in the pool. It was the highlight of my week. Memories came flooding back of my kids jumping in puddles and loving the water. They loved nothing more than to slide down the hill in the mud and come back covered head to toe. We would hose them down and throw them in the tub for a bubble bath and I would sing “Splish Splash I was taking a bath”. Those days were never dull and always kept us on our toes and now they are fun movies in my head.

Hunter and his friend Karenin and New Friends Maple and and Enzo. I love how dogs make friends so quickly with a sniff. Wouldn’t probably go over too well for us. 🤣

This is just a silly diddily Word Play that quickly evolved thinking back in time.

Thanks soooo much for visiting today and have a great Friday and weekend. As for me, I ran out the door to a client thinking it was Thursday (don’t ask) and didn’t get to add the pics I wanted which are lost in space somewhere and I can’t seem to find them. This seems to be the story of my life these days. Have a great weekend and as always please like (if you do of course, comment and or share if the spirit moves you.

Stay well and have fun!

💖

That is very nice. Sometimes, an individual likes remembering his pat days, sometimes people lives on their memories. It is very useful to remember our past days.

Cindy, here is a question for you. Can a parent remain dry while helping children with a bubble bath? I think it is nigh impossible. As for the Bobby Darin song, “Splish Splash” remains the most appropriate song to sing at these moments. Keith

How did the rubber duckies remain on the cat’s back?

Cindy, I had not thought of this in years, but a colleague used to organize a charity event in Winston-Salem, NC called the “Rubber Duck Regatta.” People, mainly kids, would put their number on a rubber duck and they would all start our on the Yadkin River. The winners would get prizes. The kids loved it. Funny, I cannot remember the charity. Keith

That song “Splish Splash” brings back loads of laughter and memories of times with my sister and friends being silly 😜 We also loved to play in the rain, in our boots and with bubbles. Oh the good ol days 🤗🌞🌈 What a treat to have a fun visit with fur babies 🥰 Your rhyme also gave me a good laugh and a walk down memory lane when I was a stay at home Mom with my boys. Thanks for all the memories dear Cindy 😘 ❤

Look at all those animals! Wasn’t it just a couple weeks ago that you were happy to escape them? Here you are, all about them again! I love it. Sweet little verse! Hoping your upcoming week feels more organized and less lost in space! 🌞

Wow Cindy loved watching this so much. Milo here loves water so much that if he hears any tap running in the house he will come running to it. All of the babies were so happy and loved the day. It was a beautiful day to be out. Also i have doubt that if ollie is a cat even. Ollie behaves just like Milo. Haha. Wonderful. 😍😍😍😍
