Happy Wednesday my friends. Maybe walking and writing isn’t such a good idea, It’s the equivalent to driving and texting and we all know that’s NOT a good idea. I come up with my best inspirations on a trail and I’m usually with someone so I don’t want to slow them down. If I wait until later, poof… it’s gone. I landed hard right on my tail bone and elbow when I was writing about falls no less, but I’m thankfully ok. How’s that for an example of words creating reality! I do need to take heed because as you may remember, I’ve landed on the ground one too many times lately I’m embarrassed to say, and every fall has an impact on your body, especially as you’re getting older. Who me getting older? 🤣🤣 I’m 16 remember? Let’s just say, I’m not getting any younger❣️
The whole hike was like a slip and slide and we both almost fell about 10 times with the fine gravel. We’ve done this many times before but it’s been a while and I think our lack of rain might have something to do with it. We literally had to hold hands and walk at a snails pace all the way down the mountain. Next time I’m wearing my hiking boots and stopping to write if I have an inspirational thought that comes my way.
Maybe I’ll share some of the pictures of the hike on Friday.
Stay mindful and have a great hump day. Thanks for stopping in.
P.S. Remember Slip’n Slide? That was the best!!!
