Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Everyday we have a choice
to judge and condemn
or to see
each other’s light

Take the high road and glean insight

We might not like
what’s been said
or done and
we don’t have to

Take the high road and glean insight

Sometimes it’s better
to bite your tongue
when you wanna say
“I told you so”

Take the high road and glean insight

We all have judgements
so don’t be too harsh
because it could be you
around the next bend

Take the high road and glean insight

It isn’t always easy
nothing worth having ever is;
silence is golden
or cuts like a knife

Take the high road and glean insight.

Build bridges
at every turn
remember what’s right for you
isn’t right for them

Take the high road and glean insight

No one is perfect
humility is learned
We can’t protect those we love
from life’s lessons and mistakes

Take the high road and glean insight

It’s their time to grow
and fly on their own
You can offer
but not force

Take the high road and glean insight

At the end of the day
it’s the relationship that matters
so swallow your pride
and

Take the high road and glean insight……

You’ll never be sorry.

Have a wonderful and remember when you think you know what’s best for others take your own inventory. Do you ever have the feeling it’s my way or the highway? Thinking we know what’s right for others is truly our biggest form of ego. Let go and let God❣️

Blessings of Love,

💖

Cindy

Ah that reminds me of the song “The Bonnie Banks o’ Loch Lomond” – ‘O ye’ll tak’ the high road, and I’ll tak’ the low road,And I’ll be in Scotland a’fore ye,’ Here’s a link https://youtu.be/gb8AGuD2uOI 🙃

I am good. But the very tense situation in the family since our 1yr old niece is suffering from rare liver disease and it may require liver surgery or transplant. Difficult time. Please pray for her.🙏🙏

Beautifully constructed lines of wisdom, Cindy! It’s so hard sometimes, right? Especially when we see people we love “messing up” their lives. I often remind myself that all roads lead to our true selves, but sometimes there are lots of detours (as was my case!) Thank you for sharing your love & talent, my friend! 🌞

Now that is exceptional advice . So true we give our children roots and wings . Not always easy to bite your tounge and keep the advice to yourself but definitely pays dividends in the long run . It is so wise not to compromise our relationships just for the sake of “being right “ lol surrender is the greatest strength . ❤️

Cindy, that was some spectacular stuff that I just read. I hope you could publish these poetries offline in a book format for people to go through. The market needs authors like you, Posh Writing.

A great poem of wisdom for all of us Cindy! I have found that the last word is never the last word! It goes on and on and usually to a disastrous end.

Well Cindy, all I have to say is, when we learn from our failures, that’s when we let our light shine brightly through those lessons, and allow wisdom to flow through so gallantly! Bravo my friend!!! 👏🏼 🤩 🙌🏼

Definitely learning to not think I know what is best for my 12 year old son. It is easy to forget he is trying to grow and learn and what I think would be easiest for him it is actually hard. This poem came at a good time. Thank you!
