Happy Fri-Yay my Fun Friends!
Not sure if you saw my haiku I shared on my new Facebook Page The Unique Times with Cindy and Instagram but here it is in case you missed it:
don’t burst my bubble
life’s surprises to be shared
let’s do it again❣️
How fun was this?❣️❣️❣️
We had just come from a celebration of life so we were feeling a little weepy and nostalgic. Those so called happy celebrations are also sad as well, realizing the finality of the relationship as you knew it.
My husband said let’s get dinner and bring it home and we stumbled on this “Progressive” Indian restaurant called Rooh on University Ave to be exact. I never or should say rarely drink alcohol before 6:30 or 7 p.m. but for some reason I asked him for something refreshing while we waited.
He brought me The GOA COOLER and assured me it would not be too sweet and I’d say he was pretty much on the money. My husband LOVED it and so did I but if it had one more drop of sweetness it would have been too much for me.
The secret weapon turns out is the Smoke Gun with The Flavor Blaster from London, so if you’re from the UK it’s probably no surprise to you, but we’ve never seen it before so our eyes were big as saucers. Even my daughter who is a bartender on Monday nights was impressed saying “oh we are so getting that at our restaurant”. You can read everything about it here in this great article.
I highly agree with this “Bartenders love that it gives the customer something extra, like mixology theater,” says Myers. “I think you’ll find more and more people trying to push the envelope. A lot of cocktail folks say it’s fun.”
Have you guys seen this before?
On a not so fun note:
All of my family are Giants fans and have been glued to the T.V. for the 5 game series so you can imagine their upset after the loss last night. S.F. “hates” L.A. and I don’t quite get it as I grew up in S.F. liking the Dodgers for some reason. My husband and kids get so mad saying “we don’t know what’s wrong with you”. I honestly am not a fan but a fan of them, so I sit through it while I do other things. Besides, they are awfully entertaining. They said it’s in our DNA to “hate” the Dodgers; it’s like the Red Socks and the Yankees. Maybe some on you can relate to this but the cats and I have to leave when it gets too loud and Hunter just barks with them.

I’m not sure if you remember my daughter’s date with the “coyote wrangler” I set her up with and then he went MIA but he actually did text her 3 weeks later saying Happy Birthday but she never texted back. My son also saw him riding his bike so we know he’s not on the survival game or with the Hunter Warden as far as I know. She hadn’t texted him back as of the last time we talked but curious minds are dying to know but I’m doing my best of staying out of it.
New Facebook Page: The Unique Times with Cindy
You may have noticed I have a new Facebook Page specifically for my writing called The Unique Times with Cindy. I wanted a way to share my writing with the world since I’m so passionate about it and this was highly encouraged my friend Eric from Game Plan Digital. I would really appreciate if you would be so kind as to check out my page and give it a like to help spread the word. Then you can see some of my sneak preview images and videos that I will be blogging about on occasion before the post even comes out! And as always, if things look off in any way, I would really love your feedback which I have grown to count on and is invaluable to me. Thank you so much!
Have a Fun Fri-Yayyyy and wonderful weekend whatever you do!!!!
