Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

blue and brown round ornament

The heart conveys what words fall shy of.

Cindy Georgakas

Sending you love and light today to you and those you love.  Feeling blessed for your friendship across the miles and my Dear friends and especially Nila on Diwali who continues to teach me on so many levels.

We started a tradition of celebrating Diwali which is always a day I look forward to. I’m blessed by her  loving heart, traditions, recipes and gifts that fill my heart with love and light.

Last year we danced in her traditional Indian attire which was a blast. I almost forgot about it this year, thinking it was in January since I liken the lights with New Years Eve. Luckily she called to say she had a gift for me and I always have plenty of candles since I light them in my daily meditation and often at dinner.

We managed  to squeeze in 45 minutes for a low key heartfelt lunch since both of us were working all day.  She made her infamous lentil soup and rice and I cheated and bought my chicken curry in a box hahahhha…but it was delicious non the less. I quickly set the table between sessions and sat down which is unusual during my day to have a proper lunch and Walla!

I wrote her a poem and we both exchanges gifts of our heart to mark the day and our love.

Dear Nila,

Exchange of gifts and hearts
our eyes meet
knowing the light and darkness
in each one of us
intimately
we hold hands,
grateful
for this moment
colorless, ageless, timeless;
this is the gift
I have found in you

Thank you for being my friend❣️

Cindy

Love my new bangles, and this beautiful table cloth from Singapore from another one of our dear friends. I gifted her a Lakshi key chain I got from Bali and some butterfly earrings.

I served i our left overs for dinner to my husband and my son and as always, it was too SPICEY for my family. Oh well more for me-:) ❣️

Thanks so much for popping in and enjoy the gifts of the light and love and may all of the blessings of health and abundance be yours today and always.

Blessings of love and light,

💖🌟

Cindy
