Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

person holding magnifying glass during sunset

Happy New Year to You!

I hope you are starting your year with new hope and vision no matter what you are going through. My experience is that it takes awhile to decompress from the holidays. So if you’re lagging, cut yourself some slack, and give yourself some time to reflect and recommit to what it is that you want for the New Year. Join me as we head out on a walk, jump on a machine or turn up the music and move while we chat about purpose and pave a path for this New Year in 2022. My video is about 12 minutes long so if you don’t have time now, join me later or scroll down for the cheat sheet to get you off to a great start.

Let go of the past

Dream your goals into action

Commit and take flight

Let’s do this together as we Start our Year Aligned with what matters most!

According to some The number 6 is a perfect number as it is the sum of all of its divisors. It stands for love, harmony and balance. The house number 6 means responsibility, security and leading a peaceful life at home. So let’s get ready for a fabulous New Year make the most with what it brings us.

In a nutshell my the video talks about the following if you don’t have time to listen.

Steps for Defining What you what for the New Year:

  1. Know your Purpose: what makes you tick, why are you here, what is important to your and your well being, what do you want this year?
  2. Write it down: in a letter as if it has already happened in the affirmative. (see mine from last year at the end).
  3. Burn what you want to Let Go of: Write down all of the things that you want to let go of and burn them up (see the burning bowl exercise below)
  4. Remember Obstacles are part of life so cut yourself some slack and get back up and Begin Again.
  5. Who we are is love so be kind to you give that out in the world.
  6. Set your Intentions and Affirm what you want and repeat them often so you create magic.
  7. Remember to Breath while you sit in meditation, stretch, yoga and or moment.
  8. Keep a Grateful Heart.

Here is my chicken scratch letter I wrote from last year and just opened. Sometimes I make separate categories but it really didn’t matter because i was truly blown away that all of what I wanted came into fruition. Ok, maybe not that best seller book YET 🤣 but I did in fact have my book in my hand on Christmas morning before the end of the year. And my bathroom remodel is starting February 9th pending we get the money. Details, details but this is how we fire our desires and bring them into fruition. You may be afraid and feel intimidated and think this can’t happen to me but truly it can and it does even if you don’t think it’s possible. Just follow the steps and keep affirming your desires and take the human footsteps and you too will experience your dreams coming true.

In looking over the year, I see I really forged ahead in my writing and am trying to keep up on all of my social network platforms that were necessary at the time but I’m looking at more balance, reading books, while I continue my purpose of following my destiny which is to reach as many people as I can, to support them in their mission of following their light and love. I will also be submitting more poetry and truly get my book out in the world. I’ll keep you posted.

Speaking of reading, my friend Diana is running doing TBR writing challenge which looks really fun and right up my alley. Check it out here and maybe we’ll read you there too!

This is what can be manifested by the power of Intention
Ok so my book isn’t a best seller YET but a girl can dream right?! Note the writing
in the affirmative and my name Cinsage is my Yoga teacher name from my training
in case you were wondering.

As promised here is the link for the Burning Bowl Post from last year if any of you would like to do it:

Here’s to a great year and if you would like some great resources for motivation please see my friend Scott from InspireChief

Have a wonderful week ahead and thanks for dropping in. I do hope it’s helpful!

With Gratitude and Dreams Fulfilled,

💖

Cindy

Thanks so much for sharing the TBR Writing Challenge, Cindy. That was kind of you. And I think that’s so cool that you jot down your goals and then open them a year later. What a joy to see so much accomplished. You’ve inspired me to do the same… today! I hope 2022 is just as productive and that all your dreams and plans come true. 🙂

Thes days it is one day at a time for me most of the time. I am going to try my hand at learning to sketch. Chuck told me about a book that I ordered and it deals with understanding the right and left side of the brain as it relates to art.

Ok Rocky Balboa, you obviously had your Wheaties this morning! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️ LOL No, seriously these are some great motivational tips. Interestingly, I apply these tips on a daily basis, but with number 3, I burned my forgiveness list. I made a list of individuals I needed to forgive, prayed over the list and lit it until there was nothing left but ashes. Oh how liberating that felt. 🥰 Thanks for the Monday Motivation girlfriend!

Now, I am going to have me a FANtabulous FUNyay Mondaaaaaayyyyyyy evening!!! 🤗✨😘 Smooches! 💋💋💋

As far as I know there is significance of every number is astrology and religious beliefs. I think the number 6 are ruled by the hindu goddess of wealth and goddess of learning & arts.

Cindy, I plan to walk more this year. I am glad to see that you consider that exercise. 🙂 I spent some time over my break copying poems from my blog and putting them into 3-ring binders. I am less nervous knowing that I have paper copies. I have also worked on grouping the poems into chapters. At some time, I may put most of them into another book, but that is no rush.

I found this post inspirational. We have some unfinished business left over from last year, and I have found it difficult to look too far beyond that, but you got me thinking! <3 May 2022 be another productive year for you!
