Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

I found this centipede crawling in my studio floor right before teaching yoga class.

Happy Fri-Yay Funday My Friends!

I’m truly grateful to be a Monthly Contributor for MasticadoresUsa and excited to share my poem Centipedes of Love with you today.

A special thanks to MasticadoresUSA. A big thank you to, Gabriela Marie Milton, and the team at MasticadoresUSA for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.

This has put my Yay back into Friday once again after a week of recovery and I’m so grateful to be feeling the love from all of you and back on my feet. You’re heartfelt wishes have meant the world to me!

❤️

Centipedes of Love

Frozen in time
hollowed out oak
Creating space
home for all

The centipede
crawls over my flesh
pincher free for it recognizes me
as part of its species.

100 legs walk the earth’s crust
burrowing their way
into any open crevices
multiplying

twisting and turning
through warm open wounds…………

I would be honored if you would go here to read the rest of my poem. Thank you!

Thank you truly for visiting and have a wonderful Fri-Yay and weekend!

Until Monday, Stay Blessed and find love and joy in moments shared!

❤️

Cindy

Congratulations, dear Cindy, for this adorable piece. Happy you’re picking up well. Today our Fri-Yay Funday post is brief, understandably so.. On your best days, there’s usually even more bubbling fun for us. 🥲. May you have the healing and vivacity enough to continue glistening up our faces here, dearest, whenever time always allows. I’m happy for you for this great piece and many more that have been published at Masticadores, Spillwords, your Uniquelyfitblog and other notable places. 🌺💖💖

This is great, Cindy. Send over your centipede to transport all the little clots that still linger in my leg. Maybe it could be like the leeches of old!

I felt them. I thought it was a truck that ran over me today after surgery, but it was the centipedes LOL. They did their trick. I slept all afternoon until about six. Now, here I am wide awake. Poor Vince, we keep such a different schedule. 🙂

Every single time I’m scrolling through the reader and see the centipede picture I have to start laughing nervously, because I have a big, fat phobia. 😹

Nevertheless, I also think your post is cute, Cindy! Here’s another 💖 from me! 🌞

I read the full poem and like how you led us to that LOVE ending
and this part was nice jewel too
“Dark skies open diamonds rain white
cleansing illusions”
but so interesting and a few parts had me wonder what was meant – and sometimes a good poem does exactly that!

I read and commented on Masticadores. It is nice to get a chance to read you there. I hope you are enjoying your time writing and finding time to mix it in with all of the other things you have going on. I don’t know how you do it my friend but my hat is off to you for juggling everything. Blessings and love to you sweetie. Sending you and your beautiful family lots of love. xoxoxoxo Joni

I generally post only once a week but you have thousands of followers. If you worried about reading and commenting on every post you will burn out very quick. I have a husband too, and we enjoy each other very much so for me, I can do what I can. I pray for people I follow. That is the most important thing to me. There has been a problem with my like button for about a year now. WordPress has a work order on it. Unless people watch the like button and make sure it stays lit it likely doesn’t count. So I have had to tell myself not to worry about the numbers. My daughter has been so upset about not being able to like my posts that she has called me a few times so frustrated. She has a company to run so I tell her not to even mess with it. We just do our best and if the people who follow me don’t understand I feel badly as I truly do love our community and care about my friendship, but some people post up to four times a week.
Please don’t worry about me Cindy. I would never get upset with you about anything. I am happy you are writing and getting published. Your family must be very proud of their mom. Do what you can and enjoy your beautiful family too. Love you sweetie-no need to respond to my response either cause I already know you love me too. ❤️🤗🦋🥰🌹🎈🦋🤗

You know I think I told you not to worry about answering this comment. Thank you for your sweet compliments Cindy they mean a lot. Yes, thank you Cindy, my daughter gets upset because she is so proud of her mom. Just like I am sure your children are very proud of you. Thank you for all your sweet words Cindy. I love you lots and have been praying about you since I read that upsetting post. I am confident that you will get better soon. That glitch has been like that since summer it isn’t going to go away. I have just accepted it. Love you bunches sweetie and big hugs. ❤️🤗🦋🥰
