Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

I sit in the rubble with every
shade of greige elated and forlorn.

Dreams worth waiting for
finally coming into fruition…

while others lives and homes are fragments
of what was.

Tears leak elation and sadness
holding both as the floor’s
dropped out beneath us.

We sit in grief and despair
with shades of greige
on Friday while we try
to put the fun in the day
but there’s no Yay!

The only thing I can think to do
after my mourning meditation
is to pull out my felt pens
and let my 5 year old self scribble
on the walls in anything but greige.

Well it’s Friday for sure and I’m happy to say I made it through the week with the big sale and start of the remodel! I’m thrilled but to be honest, I’m like a sponge and I wear my heart on my sleeve so it would feel inauthentic to be putting Yay’s all over my post today. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜’πŸ˜Š

Holding both spaces are important and difficult right now and also call us to go deeper on so many levels and spread our love, time and resources to help where we can.

If you are wondering where Greige came from, it’s the new shade in the industry of color. Well, it is for me anyway. Grey has been the rage for some time but Beige is making a comeback so it’s the combination of the two.

Grey + Beige= Greige

I’m not a grey girl as it’s too cool for me and more of a beige one but yet the two combined seems to feel right; so that’s what I’m going with for my bathroom. I’ll leave the grey in my kids rooms since they are all so very cool! 😎!

Have a wonderful weekending and do see if you can put some Yay into your Friday! We need it more than ever right now. Take good care of you and those you love.

See you on you on Monday for Part 5: Overcoming Obstacles in Putting your Dreams into Action!

Blessings and more Love than I can say~

Totally relating to you and color and remodeling…I have been living in a construction pit since October past…and also how the world’s injustices and pain can take all the yay out of our lives.. and make us contemplate. Good luck on your greige:) it is a pretty color and I am a cool baby…grey blue is my favorite shade:)

Oh my FUNyay friend, it sounds like someone stole your Wheaties from you this morning. πŸ˜₯ I was so anxious to read your FUNyay Fri-Yay Funday post and get my laughs on, but I was sad to see that you seem a little deflated, especially after seeing the “F.U. Putin” scrawled on the walls! YEAH Baby, now THAT’S what I’m talking about Cindy Windy! What an S.O.B.! C’mon now girlfriend, you gotta somehow roll out of your “mourning meditation” and slap that Debbie Downer bitch in the face. πŸ€£πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚

You are every woman indeed, but every woman needs a break every now and then too. So I will give you a free, get out of that emotional jail card pass, and savor in my French flavor of the day, Greige!!! πŸŽ¨πŸ–ΌπŸŒˆπŸ–Œ And while that remodel may wreck your nerves, just get your markers out and write your frustrations on the walls. You can paint over them later!!! 😲✍🏼😁 Hugs and smooches Mommy Nature! πŸ™πŸ½ Sending you some positive vibes through the internet!!! πŸ’» πŸŒ πŸŒŸπŸ’¨πŸ’«

Girlfriend, I just can’t send V.P. my love right now with all of the turmoil and death he is imposing on people who are just trying to live their lives. I suppose I am just so angry by his taunting and Godless antics. He’s not only hurting the Ukranians but his people as well. I don’t think most of the people in his country support his actions, but it hurts them just the same. What do you do with narcissists like that? I suppose we have to ask the same questions in our country too huh? Anywho, we won’t let him damper our day, even though we have to be on the lookout as well.

Well Mommy Nature, make the rest of this day as awesome as you are! Hugs and smooches! πŸ₯°πŸ’πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ˜˜πŸ₯‚πŸŒž

See how you broke it down with your experience. Truly I do know that we are the light and we have to make sure it shines brighter than the darkness we see. It just takes me a little while to pierce through the fog of evil in such situations as this, and see that folks can be salvageable if they want it.

And your friend was correct, that this is a humanitarian experience and we do share in this sadness even though we are not in the midst of chaos they are experiencing. Honey chile, this is why I am on my knees so much, praying and trying to be a better person than I am! Smooches my sweetness!!! πŸ˜˜πŸ’‹πŸ’–πŸ₯°πŸŒΊπŸŒž
