Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Welcome to Step 6 of Putting your Dreams into Action!

So you have a purpose, a want and why, a plan of action, have processed the feelings and triggers that arise, have learned how to Overcome Obstacles and today it’s time to talk about Support and Gratitude.

This is a crucial step in the process. No man is an island and we need to call on our network of support when we come up against obstacles and get the help we need or go off the wagon so to speak. I wish it was that easy in our world but that is a whole other subject in and of itself. It’s important to continue on our path creating what we want in our lives even when world affairs make it feel like a fruitless endeavor. Perhaps more than ever, it’s time to stay the course and rather than let things around us dampen our spirits, forge ahead and keep the embers burning and stay the course.

You’ve Got This!

💖🌻 Cindy

Of course, if there are other forces holding you back because of situations out of your control such as the pandemic, caring for a loved one, extenuating circumstances, time crunches etc you may need to pause and return to what your original plan is when you can realign with your purpose and plan of action. However, anything short of that, is no reason that is worth the excuse of getting in the way of pursuing your dreams.

Either way support is vital so that you can reignite the feeling of excitement you had when you first decided to set sail to your dream.

Support and Gratitude reignite your Dreams!

Cindy Georgakas

Walk with me while I share my experience in dealing with one of my hurdles in embarking on a situation that created angst, anger, sadness and resentment when my neighbors cut their trees down without asking and infringed on our privacy. Quite honestly, we are very much still in the thick of it but we are moving forward and committed to resolution with firm boundaries and support. This is almost 10 minutes which was double the time I was planning on for this talk, so feel free to skim through it and move to the key points which i’ll list below, if you don’t have time to listen.

A talk on Support and Gratitude

In Short, “ask and you will receive” and stay the course!

Steps in Getting Support:

  • Get the support you need either through research and expertise, meditation, friends, counseling, therapy, yoga etc: It is smart to know what you need and get the help to in achieving your goals and dreams. No it is NOT weakness as some will have you believe.
  • Set Boundaries
  • Negotiate
  • Take small obtainable steps toward your objective EVERYDAY!
  • Fan your successes and be grateful which is vital to creating what you want!
  • Stay the course!

Have a great week ahead as you keep chipping away at Putting your dreams into action. You know something is worth your time when there is a nagging tugging at your soul that continues to call your attention. Trust it, embrace it and stay the course.

Next Monday I have a poem coming out on MasticadoresUsa so I will see you for final series, Step 7: Do the work in two weeks.

Stay Blessed and Be Love as you share your light and ignite your inner light so you can share it with the world which desperately needs you!

💖🌻🙏

Video is superb. You’re my guru now. I resonate with you when you say that getting help to achieve goals and dreams doesn’t show weakness. It’s rather management that also advocates for delegation and decentralisation. This is a beautiful and useful Post, Cindy. Have a great week ahead. Namaste 🙏💐💖

I can’t fully show how much obliged I am for these Monday lessons. I can’t say less than the fact that I’m growing, each step of the way. These strategies are helpful and go a long way in contributing to my dreams. I agree that support, gratitude and action are quite important tips for achieving our goals and I’m going to lean on them, always. I’m glad you solved the issue around the trees amicably too, though I’m a bit surprised the man wanted you to take up the whole cost. Thank God your good negotiation skills salvaged the situation. You told me that you were going to seek justice for the trees, and you certainly ACTED. Ain’t that marvelous to know: you don’t just teach, you actually do what you teach. 💯% beautiful and helpful. Ever so grateful to you. Have a fabulous week, dearest C. 🌈❤🌟🌟💕

Wonderful post, Cindy. I love how you write about support and human connection, within and without. It is an illusion many people fall into to believe that they are doing life on their own, with no help, when, in fact, the truth is we all need help, and get help daily. A powerful post about manifesting all we want in life, while remembering to call on people, to lean on people, and to know we are not alone. Love it! 💖💖

Cindy you are such an inspiration, you affirm everything I believe and aspire to live by. Taking help as needed is indeed a strength and courage – it turns obstacles into new possibilities. I appreciate you sharing your conversations and making choices in ways that teach me to take up space even more powerfully, make my presence count if I am there! Thank you for sharing your humanness so authentically, this is such a true process of life for us to operate from balanced ways of being. I rarely click on videos, almost never do. I enjoy yours for how real they are and not curated to perfection – that in itself encourages me to show up as I am – I have been wanting to make videos but don’t ‘feel’ the time yet and perhaps unknowingly feel not ready for it. Simple things like that train me to be natural and organic, because that’s how I want to do anything. I learn so much from you just by being here, and wonder how beautiful it would be to see you in person. I am eager yet feel no rush, as I believe the timing will reveal itself. Just knowing you are here feels very powerful.

Just one thing to say – I see you just like how I feel myself – there is no number to our age really, I mean it really doesn’t touch us for how we feel. Your energy is exactly that young as you mention – that’s the magnetism that is mysterious to many others, because the definitions of worldly age don’t mean a thing to aware souls who renew themselves continually.
Rest everything you say I receive fully with much Gratitude _()_ I love the words – ” a one and done girl, living forward than backward”

Thanks for listing the points, Cindy. In the midst of getting caught up, it’s hard to listen to longer videos. That was thoughtful of you. Setting boundaries is difficult for me. If you don’t do it, though, you end up being resentful and spoiling a lot of fun. In some cases, like yours with the neighbors, you have no advanced warning. That makes it very difficult to set boundaries. The same is so true of new teachers. They often have no clue what is going to happen in the classroom to be able to set boundaries and act preventively.

Awesome video, Cindy! “Everyday is a new adventure!” How right you are! I love the fact that you planted new trees and they look gorgeous! And they’re proof that you really took control of your situation! On the setting boundaries note, I stunk at setting boundaries years ago, but as we get older, we realize just how important that is! I can tell from the video that you have great strength and know how to relax and just be- I admire that! 💖💕

You’re most welcome, Cindy! And I so agree with you! When we’re young, it’s hard to stand our ground and claim what’s ours. That comes with getting older and wiser. I look forward to seeing your bigger trees! Have a wonderful Thursday! 💖💐🌹🌺 And Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀🍀🍀

This one resonates with me especially regarding support. I’m in my eleventh year of counseling (yeah, I’m a long-timer, I suppose) and still learning, still trying, still failing and still getting back up. I view my years of therapy as a badge of courage, something for which I can be proud. I mean, what’s the alternative, right? Seeking help comes from a place of strength, not weakness, and while it’s difficult to reach out, there are folks who care and can offer help. I think people need to realize there’s no “magic pill” that will cure everything and that it takes lots of hard work and time to heal, but like I mentioned above, the alternative is too dark to ponder. Thanks for always bringing options and solutions, light and hope in your messages. Much appreciated! 🙂

Hi – I am home ( Virginia ) didn’t go anywhere on the blog break – just take them now and again (as you know ! Or at least I try to take them before they are really needed – ha)
But I did have a good time getting some other projects done
– even though I have a “garden analogies” book that is 75% done and I would love to finish that soon- hmmmm

Thanks Cindy – this one had been a work in progress since around 2008 – well that was when I started collecting the shirt analogies
(Like one day I walked out to see two hanging plants almost dead from no water – and the crazy part was that it rained for a week straight and I never thought I water them – but because they were use the porch – they were so close to all that rain but never really got watered – we humans can be that way too and we must never assume needs are met because they look they should be – something like that is what I wrote –
And have some about root shock – which is kind of what you have going on with your nest of a home all turned up with (awesome) construction) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well I will keep you posted on my progress – and the funny thing about estimating what a book project needs is that even if we can guess how far we are done – we still never can predict the real time it will take – editing and formatting can be a be-yotch (ha) and as you know with your book – we have to let the timeline breathe — and sending a prayer your way 🙏for successful hone projects – wedding and condolences for the loss! Whew- that is a lot in one season – and side note – glad you are still Able to blog
