I bought out all of the sunflowers in honor of Ukraine
because I’m not gonna let them win and get me down.

Cindy, it does not help to wallow in sorrow or try to ignore this tragic war. Making a donation and buying flowers are two positive things we can do. I too, have sunflowers in my house, and made a small donation through UNICEF. I applaud the work Margo is doing. Many on WordPress have written in support of Ukraine. We cannot escape the pain we feel, but we can do something to help, however small. Thank you for reminding us of these truths. <3

I like the flowing joy in the I bought flowers just because !
Also the feet and meeting the earth thoughts were quite interesting
I used to be the fast one rushing
And one day back in 2001 – I was a counselor/case manager and was just doing what I did – when I met with a lady and she asked, “so you have a lot of irons in the fire today?” What? I asked – well it was her way of telling me I seemed super busy and rushed
Sigh
Part of it was not necessarily rushing – but as a high energy person I was being joyful and mocking me!
Some walk slow and so sophisticated and that is them!
Anyhoo -/ I learned to slow my stride a bit –
And what really helped (of course you know this as a coach and lifelong health pro) but working out helped!
Without realizing it – I wasn’t rushed – I was just a bit of an atheistic person who had pent up energy reserves and so buzzing around was some release.
But working out three to five times a week releases that and allows for the nice stride that is more socially pleasing ! Hahah
And prayers for Ukraine

Interesting observance of the lady and wonderful way you have added working out as a form of release and slow your stride. I do know about both of those places and find when I’m I’m juggling so much like I am now I feel a lot like you are saying.. lot’s of irons in the fire and finding my stride and keeping my workouts are essential.
