Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

I am happy to announce that my poem, A Wrinkle in Time, is now available at MasticadoresUSA. Thanks to Gabriela Marie Milton, and the team at MasticadoresUSA for their continued support, and for publishing this piece.

Crackled like the tree with all of its imperfections,
I pay homage
So why, not to me?

After all, I’ve lived through the years,
climbed mountain tops, stumbled and fell,
Eaten shit and died.

I’ve scraped by, been beaten and bruised, raked over the coals, withered  in pain and cried.

I’ve seen blue skies and rainbows, birthed babies that split me in two,
opened my heart that ……….

I would be honored if you would go here and read the rest of my poem.

Thank you so much, I so much appreciate it.

Have a wonderful week!

Blessings,

Cindy

What a beautiful poem of declaration Cindy! 🎆👏🏼✨ I love it. At first I thought you were going to refer to the book, “A Wrinkle in Time” but, my goodness, with all you went through, you are owning your character lines, because they reflect your journey (at least that is what I tell myself anyway😉)! What a beautiful reflection girlfriend! Cheers!!! 🥂🍾🍸

“Aged in beauty to perfection in the sunshine and waves of Cali bottled like fine wine”

This is the essence of you, I love this line. This is Cindy-ness (if you have ever seen the movie “You, me and
Dupre” with Owen Wilson, Matt Damon and Kate Hudson, you will get the reference, if not, definitely a good belly laugh of a movie and worthy of your TBW list).

Very well done, as is per your usual.

Always a great feeling to have our writing accepted by others, and being published is one of the best ways to achieve that. Congrats on being selected, and keep on keeping on! Poetry isn’t easy at all, which is why I’m always stoked to see fellow writers find their way through the genre.
