Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

I don’t usually participate in prompts because of time restrictions but when I saw David’s W3 Poetry Prompt and poem Oh Luna, that Steven S. Wallace wrote, I couldn’t help myself, since I had just written a poem to my husband about Sun and Shade and it reminded me of that. And it was such a fun whimsical poem, I couldn’t resist.

Click on the link Oh Sol below below if you want to participate, there’s still time if you act fast!

Oh Sol,
365 days you orbit
So bright & shine me on
Always together not one or the other.

Oh Sol,
2 lights yes
We run this town
I like my powder dark with a marshmallow
To top us off as we spin in circles at sundown.

Oh Sol,
Burn baby burn so bright
You are the candle in my white light
Your penpal, my one true love
Iโ€™m strumming our tune dear
Can you hear it

Oh Sol,
Iโ€™m blushing tis true
You beam me up once in a blue moon.
You see
Iโ€™m always spinning round you or you me.

I think you deserve to be beamed up more often than just once in a blue moon, Cindy!

Yes I dig it big! I love how it replies! Luna is the subject of cajoling or seduction by a sort of cad of a Sun. Your Moon reply is just straight honest admiring to Sol. Letโ€™s hope Sol deserves that pure love and admiration that she sends to him!๐Ÿ˜‚. For the sake of Solโ€™s everywhere!

Lovely poem!!!๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿฅฐโ€”SSW
