I put on my red cape daily.
How about you?
I have no clue what I’m walking into
but I know there’s someone
somewhere in need.
I use it to fly, climb, hold up buildings and the sky,
wipe tears from eyes and shield others
from visions no one should see.
I wrap them in red satin so love is tattooed on their soul,
when their hearts bleed, feeding the earth.
I ground my feet rooted in red.
My family and friends give me the substance to carry-on.
But I don’t feel like like flying today,
and would rather use my cape
to cover my head and go back to bed.
Some things have no words and make no sense,
when we do our very best.
And we wonder
what’s the point
of being put to this Almighty test.
Still we fly you and me together
in a friendly and not so friendly sky,
holding hands in unity,
in hope and prayers for a safe flight
And better days ahead.

Ready or not, welcome to a new week ahead with vision and hope. You know these days, we all have them. I’ll see you on the path in story and word.
Happy Monday!
Blessings of Love,
