There’s always been music,
perhaps I just didn’t hear the symphony in the background.
There’s always been color,
but maybe I was in a dark place and never looked up to notice.
The sun is always hidden behind yester-years when I was too blind to see.
I remember those days when I couldn’t lift my head from the pillow.
There’s always been darkness when I’ve run with joy and delight in euphoria or some altered state in light.
The wind has always kissed my face gently or nipped at my nose.
There has always been time,
was I just too busy, to sit down?
The years have come and gone and I relish in taking time slower, and I ask, why is it all or nothing this life, that moves so fast and stays so long?
I’ve no time for idle chatter, stats on the news, or lingering gossip of the past.
My eyes blink a tear, my belly, a guttural laugh as I walk down the hall,
farting in symphony, as I open the window, and I finally see,
there’s always been music, colors, the wind at my back and time,
all in perfect harmony.
I think It’s time to stop taking life so seriously.

Happy Fun Fri-Yay! I finally got a break in the action yesterday with the storms and wrote this as I was walking… no doubt “tooting” along the way. You laughing? Just wait.. your time is coming. I had no idea about this song until I just goggled Fart Symphony and this came up. Who’d a thunk? I wanted to take the fam to see Frozen durning the holiday but we never made it. I’ve not seen the movie or heard the song before now but I’ve heard great things.

Haha, when my mom got her first hearing aids in her 80s, she said ‘I didn’t know you could hear my toots!” Now she doesn’t stop, but she has a good giggle each time 🙂
