Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

This is the first time I’ve done a prompt so fingers crossed the ping back works❣️

Thanks for the opportunity to play with you all, Sadje.

Little boy blue come blow your horn.

I had your back out the gate, your second mother, my king brother.

Holding hands, both with blue eyes, we swam the ocean waves of love.

Little boy blue come blow your horn.

The cats in the cradle with the silver spoon (he’s back now) but I’m right here, you can count on me.

We’ve since grown up and had families of our own, the years have been rough on you.

Little boy blue, come blow your horn.

If I could take away your pain and your fractured mind and put you back together,

I would if I could.

Little boy blue come blow your horn.

The torment you live in on and off the streets,

has now played havoc with your body in ICU.

Little boy blue come blow your horn.

My heart plummeted as your vitals all dropped and you ripped the electrodes out of your head.

I wish I had the magic bullet to change thought patterns and help you mend.

Little boy boy, come blow your horn,

Let’s go back to when I was 8 and you were just born and relive those precious moments, capturing time in a bottle.

We’ll never grow past nine, it would all be fine.

Little boy blue come blow your horn.

I pray for you every day and night and see your light come shining through.

You’re always in my heart and soul, I love you through and through.

Little Boy blue come blow your horn.

I’m here waiting for you.

Sometimes love is not enough.

I am so sorry. That must have been so hard for everyone in your family. Tragic. You write about him beautifully and so lovingly. Knowing that makes your poem even more beautiful. You share the most vulnerable moments in your life so eloquently.

It was such a moving story over the years and yes…”sometimes..love is not enough” I had to read it again..Such a heartbreakingly beautiful piece Cindy…Bravo!!

“Sometimes love is not enough.”

Trust me Dear Cindy i Feel i Sense

Exactly Where You Are Coming From

Of Course Only in my EYes At Least Yes

As i’ve Been on the Other End of the Rope

Where Even Demons Fear

to Tread Within

Yet True Fortunate

Enough to Escape

i Could Never Send

Anyone to Where i’ve Been

Nor Surely Judge Anyone For

Still Living in ‘That Place’

Low Enough

Myself

To Lift
Anyone
Up With No Restraint..:)

Love huh. I have spent so much time pondering about what love means to me. Some days nothing else could matter more but in heartbreak you find yourself coping without it. And maybe it creeps in, you don’t need love at all because love is not enough.
