Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

It’s an honor to share my poem Grass Is Never Greener with you that was published on MasitcatoresUsa yesterday, thanks to Barbara Leonard and her team, for their continued support of my work. You can also visit Barbara at her site Extraordinary Sunshine Weaver. Thank you truly for reading and your support which means so much to me.

I dip into chartreuse and paint the sky of Meadows in mid-flight.

Barren branches promise fills the skeptic in me.

Years have taught me patience, so I visit every day.

Dew drops fall,

birds go into hiding,

dark days turn into long nights, but still I come.

And then one day, a bud peaks through, casting hope.

I build a tent with a watchful eye,

I would be delighted if you would go here and read the rest of my poem and share the appreciation with MasticadoresUsa as well.

Thank you truly for reading and your support and once again to you Barbara and team. I so appreciate you!

That was the longest I have been out of touch with WP and electronic communication. I have to say, it was quite a journey into the soul being at this yoga retreat. When I said in my last post “There’s a Lot to Unpack in This Life”, it’s so true and where-ever you go… there you are. I believe Wayne Dyer said that.

I came back to a power outage and my dad is here staying since the storms have been so bad so it might take some time getting back.

The best news is I spent some time on my book and I even came up with a title which I’ll share with you Friday.,

Until then, Happy Monday and have a great week!

💞

Cindy

Congratulations Cindy Georgakas! The poem’s message of patience and perseverance in the face of adversity is both inspiring and thought-provoking. It reminds me that sometimes the things we seek in life are not easily obtained, and that it may take time and effort to see them come to fruition. The poem also reminds me of the importance of staying present and mindful, of enjoying the journey rather than focusing solely on the destination. In the end, the realization that the grass is never greener on the other side is a valuable lesson, one that encourages us to appreciate what we have and to find beauty in the present moment. Thank you for sharing your poetic gift with the world. 👍👏👌😊

I think it’s good for us to be out of touch with electronic media, occasionally, Cindy. It has a way of dominating our life. That said, I enjoy writing, photography, and communicating with friends, all of which social media, and in particular blogging, encompasses. BTW, Peggy and I spent t portion of our honeymoon at Chichen Itza wav back when. ❤️
