Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Mist in the morning

Fogs clarity, loosing hope

Unveil Illusion

Cindy Georgakas

Good Morning My Friends,

With being so busy with my book launch, I missed the opportunity to talk about mental health month so I wanted to take a moment to share some of my thoughts with you this morning. May is Mental Health Month and we all know it doesn’t end in May and no one is exempt from struggles with their own mental health or dealing with other family members or friends, that are experiencing them at one point or another,

If you or someone you know are struggling, please reach out and get the help you need and don’t forget to reach across the table to comfort yourself or another in times of need. Your presence does make a difference and can give hope and love to someone who is feeling hopeless. I wrote a piece called MOOD ON! It’s Move It Monday! It has statistics, tips, a work out video and just where to find help if you need a little more inspiration and support. You can read it here.

Yesterday I picked this card from my Healing Angel Card Deck by Toni Carmine Salerno and thought “what the heck, I’ve been running back and forth doing just that all day” but this came out of no where and it turned out it was my gardener that needed a little TLC. In my book RE-CREATE & CELEBRATE, 7 Steps To Turn Your Dreams Into Reality, I talk about every age and stage, giving us new ways to grow and be tended to. “As we continue to grow, we face new challenges that we must adjust to in order to make room for change. Change is not always easy, but it is inevitable and if we get set in our ways, we can hinder our growth, and our ability to open to our highest good.

I stood with my gardener and he shared his heart and I taught him some breathing exercises and tai chi and he felt much better when he left. I just saw him now and he’s practicing the moves and is feeling better. Practice is the cornerstone to mental clarity and health. Reach across the table and share your heart with someone that needs you. It requires nothing more than a smile or a word of affirmation.

A 5 minute talk on Reaching Out and touching someone

Have a blessed day and remember it only takes a minute to be of service to another human being, including yourself and it may just change your life or theirs.

Always Love,

💗

Cindy

P.S. Thank you so much to all of you for all of the reviews coming out on Amazon and to Devang from The Fat Guy Workout for being the first Indian blogger to make a review which he so proudly shares. Kudos to you Devang! I appreciate you and your blog post on me and my book! Please check him out as he has a wealth of information on health and wellness.

Thank you my dear friend for addressing such an emotional and delicate subject. Your thoughts and inspiration are a catalyst of encouragement for all of us. I am sure your gardener appreciated you taking the time to connect with his spiritual state. Our presence really does make a difference, because sometimes that’s all a person needs at that moment in time. Bless you my Energizer Mama! 🥰🙏🏼🤗💖😊

Cindy, I don’t think there are any accidents. The man needed someone to talk with and something/someone made sure it happened. There is so much we don’t know but I know that much. Thanks for the encouraging video.

DESIRE + COMMITTMENT = RESULTS

Being mindful is very important, but people are afraid to speak out. The are afraid to be vulnerable.

Your voice gives theatre experience on headphones….you should consider doing podcast. The video is also an added bonus

Ahhh… I want that book in paperback. I want to hold and experience it. I am not buying it immediately because I want it to be stay available for others.

I just heard american version on my name, haha, well yes people say my name like that, haha…
Wise wednesday sounds great….. A video weekly please.

AND.,
That’s how you get shout out twice folks….. haha

People are afraid

My reason of being afraid is I don’t want to show my side to someone and later when people don’t understand it, they just leave .
It needs patience and empathy to understand what others are feeling. A lot of people just don’t have that.
I’ve tried to share a blog series where they can talk about themselves and their feelings, but not all will open. It’s hard to show them that yes I’m interested to listen and I care.

Especially men are afraid because they think it’s against their masculinity.

There are days when I want to cry and I feel very lonely, but there’s no one to listen 😶.

Your book made me very hopeful. I love it’s tone, it’s like an elder sister is telling that things will be fine.

An American version is, when Americans say my name like that.

Basically my name sounds like
Dey- vaa-n-g

You are positive and lovely.
You bring a great message, and I believe it works for many.
My sister (rip) had issues, beyond all I’ve read here. The “medical industry” had her on chemicals from puberty. She was institutionalized. Eventually diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Later in her life they changed that to Severe Personality Disorder.
She lived on a mountain of pills. Died youngish.

Everything you said here I needed for me, just to cope with knowing her.
Cindy, thank you for caring!

It was a hard time with her.
I’m happy more people are talking about mental illness these days.
People seem embarrassed about it.
We need to get over that! 🥰🙏🏼

To reach out and comfort someone in times of need is very important to the ones who are silently suffering and quietly shy to talk to about their problems … I know the feeling Cindy, my emotional journey tested every fibre within me … I was lucky enough to the recipient of very supportive friends and family… thank you for your encouraging article Cindy … sorry I’ve missed a few of your posts lately, this ‘covid’ thing has been a struggle for me … 💜😍🌏🤗🐶

What a great reminder that we have more power to change the world than we think, and it can all begin with the small actions we take on the daily. The best part is, there’s no cost to doing this. Lovely post as always, Cindy!
