Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

Pissed!
Families torn apart by human hands.
Trapped.

Where is the door?
Black or white,
it makes no difference who you are.

None of us escape walls closing in,
gasping for air.
Read the fine print.

No matter where you are on the food chain,
freedom is your right,
Not reserved for one but all.

What makes you king?
Will you tell me?
He that spews venom out of fear deserves to be sprayed.

I am pissed.
Spray on my friend while you are
starving,
panting,
separated,
trying to make it out alive,
while you eat your grub.

I for one am rooting you on.
What makes your family
more special and theirs?!

You deserve
to be skunked!
Pissed!

I was feeling horrible for the skunk since they never came to take him to a creek within the 24 hrs. they said they would come. After about 58 and I was worried he was dead. They said they could live for 72 but in the heat and with no food or water, I wasn’t taking any chances. I managed to get animal control out which they don’t usually do and they took him and thank goodness he was alive. I hope he survived!!!!

Have a wonderful week ahead and as my Godson Connor says, may all your days be sprayed with channel and then the skunk could be a great pet. I loved his line.

Blessings of Love,

💗

Cindy

That’s not good either, but if he wasn’t hurt too badly, he should have called. I know that panic, not with skunks but raccoons that we trapped.

Excellent piece, Cyndy. We can’t only supposedly pick and choose the parts of the Constitution we like. Everyone deserves an equal shake.

One time a skunk was wandering around my school in broad daylight—highly unusual behavior for a nocturnal animal. The kids were freaking out. Animal control came and shot the animal with a tranquilizer. It was later found to have rabies and was euthanized.

Oh my Energizer Mama Nature, your compassion goes beyond words. But honey, I am so glad you didn’t get sprayed though! 🦨 But your words are spot on with what the Constitution proclaims for every citizen, every family, every socioeconomic level, every gender to embrace and live by. Sadly, some just don’t get it. Hugs and smooches my dawwwlinkkkk. Have a beautiful week sweetie pie! 🌞💖😎💞😍

Hopefully so. When we got married, we lived in a small trailer next to a field. A skunk got trapped under the trailer and died. I made the mistake of taking a shovel and scooping it up, letting out all the smell. We had to leave until the smell subsided!!

Poor little guy! I’m glad they finally came out; it’s difficult here to get anyone to come out for an injured critter and even more difficult to find a place to take them. Hopefully, with your intervention, your little friend will be just fine. 🦨

I have a skunk that comes and stays under my workshop every year. She has her babies, weans them, and then off they go. They’ve taken care of a few yellowjacket nests by my front door, too.

Poor little skunk. I feel for little animals. It’s too bad their spray smells so awful. It keeps predators away, but helpers too!

I’m glad the skunk was Ok. They are cute.

My husband got sprayed by one last year in our yard–he had to throw his clothes away! And I saw one by the river early in the morning about a month ago. Fortunately, I realized what it was before I got too close.

Skunks are so beautiful, aren’t they? I’m glad to hear someone finally came to get the poor little guy. On another note, I read your book, and it is so you! I’ve never known a writer to pour herself into every page more than you did, brave and unafraid. Showing vulnerability can be a sticking point for me, and you’ve boldly revealed your vulnerabilities. I have so much admiration for you! Congrats, my pure-hearted friend! 🌞💕🌻
