Waiting,
prepping,
nesting.
Birds flying from the sky but not a single stork yet,
Just one left on my doorstep from my mouser.
Bad cat!
Expectant,
radiant,
waddling
to and fro,
she still can see
her toes.
It won’t be very long now,
I’m scrambling to get things done.
Clearing the deck to
welcome my sweet baby’s little girl.
There’s only one thing left to do:
Take each day as it comes
and enjoy these last few moments.
Perhaps a hairdo and
mani pedi is what she’s waiting for,
or floating in the pool
With an August moon so bright.
Savor these moments
When diapers don’t need cleaning
and your just an August moo cow 🐮
You will fall in love,
the minute you lay eyes on her,
this little bundle of joy,
That brings you more love
than you ever could imagine.
