Unique Times

Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

The short pause,

the long pause,

the eternal pause.

Time waits for no one.

Remember to pause before your clock stops ticking.

Between life and death there is a cord that connects us.

A breath,
a gaze,
a movement,
a shadow,
a wave
as we ebb and flow leaving the shore and returning again and again, until our time on this planet has come to an end.

As one soul takes its place in the stars,
the other is placed in our arms to love and cherish to return the gifts once given by the last generation.

This is the circle of life that teaches us more than we wanted to know.

This is the place where we grow our wings and take flight when they feel too broken to lift our head.

This is where the gifts of loving crushes us, wondering how we will carry on but we do.

When we look into the eyes of this new being full of wonder and light, we see lifetimes of the torch being carried.

Dedication,
sacrifice,
wisdom,

love’s unconditional promise,
to love us through the ups and downs,
knowing that the souls journey never leaves us
but we morn the physical form as we knew it.

As we welcome our 2 new beings of light in our family:

Pudin Tane Casselli hee hee. I call her Ju Ju B for short since I think it will be Giuliana or Juliana but today is the actual day they will sign papers and make it official after 3 weeks. They used every last day but with good reason with the unexpected turn of events. What a fun Fri-Yay it will be to have a name! We wait with baited breathe!

And

Sienna Grace Georgakas like you know already who is adorable as well.

We say a blessing to

My Son in Law’s Father, Ron Caselli who passed at home the same day Narnia gave birth August 24th. Thanks for all of your prayers which made for a safe crossing during this sad time.

To a dear friend in town Laurie Krauss Lacob who would have been 67 on her Celebration of Life on August 15th after an impressive long battle with cancer. It was a beautiful celebration of life in the garden honoring her many gifts and legacy which was beautifully shared by her 4 children and family and friends that loved her.

To another dear friend Suzanne Kohlberg who’s Celebration of life will be on what would have been her 65th birthday Saturday Sept 3rd in New York, also to cancer. Sadly, I won’t be there to pay tribute to a special friend, I had the privilege to know for so many years.

Here are my 2 favorite videos I must play 6 times a day which truly light up my heart. Enjoy!

Daddy’s little Girl
Morning Sienna!

Have a blessed weekend.

I know this isn’t my usual fun and games Friday post but I’m still testing positive, unfortunately. I’m truly taking stock of strengthening my immune system and heeding the warnings signs that have been way off kilter for awhile now. I’m enjoying little peaks of the babies through the window and eating superb nutrient dense food, loading up on water, zinc, C and magnesium. My husband has been a rockstar taking care of us and taking her during night for a few hours as well. I’m on the mend and appreciate you all more than you know.

Love and hugs,

💗

Cindy

Birth and death (or the experience of his “Celebration Day” as Stephen Simon puts it), is a “Connection” in my book. Something so special and profound about that. Take good care of yourself (it sounds like you are), and hug the baby when you can. Every moment is a gift! Congratulations too on the birth. Hugs to your son-in-law. Hugs to you as well. ❤️🌀🦋🙏

I’m sorry for all your losses, Cindy. It’s always sad no matter what the age, and theirs seemed pretty young. Praise the Lord for both those adorable babies. Lots of prayers for you to get better soon. I think your body was telling you it was time for a slow-down and take-it-easy break. I’m glad your hubby is such a sweetie.

Unfortunately, we have reached an age. When I was a kid every letter we got from my grandmother was another death, usually someone we didn’t know, but very sad to her.

Hi Cindy, those videos are so precious and I’m sorry you’re still testing positive. But it sounds like you’re taking care of yourself. Your words are beautiful too. My condolences for those who have passed also. And what’s interesting is my daughter and SIL are visiting from TN and we’ll celebrate her birthday on Sept. 3rd. Life is surreal, isn’t it? Anyway, take care and feel better. Hugs 💐

Beautiful. So many changes in your life recently… so the line, “This is the circle of life that teaches us more than we wanted to know” is especially meaningful. Best wishes for healing, and enjoyment of the new ones in your life, and gratitude for those whose lives have crossed over.

Oh Cindy, my sweet Energizer of them all, first, let me offer my belated condolences for your SIL’s father and your dear friend that passed away. These things can knock you for a loop and your heart aches miserably. I am so saddened to hear this news. But the bright spot with your eloquent words of hope and joy, are those two adorable Grand babies of yours. Now Ju Ju B? Girl…only you G’Mama! 😜

Daddy’s little girl looks at you so inquisitively. Her smile is priceless. But that Sienna looks like she’s giving you the side-eye, telling you to back off because she is trying to get her beauty rest and will catch ya later gator! LMBO! 😂😱🤣 Thanks for sharing this heart-warming post that tugs at our heartstrings! Sending you honey bunches of hugs and smooches dawwwwlinkkkk! 🥰💖😍✨😘
