Where I share my jewels of wisdom of life

One more halloween post to In honor of the day of the dead, Día de los Muertos, to honor the dead and those that live in our hearts.

With all that’s wrong, there’s more that’s right!

Hands still open to help us up.|
Words still echo balm for the soul.
Tears still shed to cast rainbows of light.

With all that’s wrong, there’s more that’s right!

Ricochet kindness and spew drops of honey.

Go inside and clear your kingdom.
Open your heart to let love in and share it.

With all that’s wrong there’s more that’s right!

Open your home.
warm kindles of the fire,
create a haven to heal all wounds.

With all that’s wrong there’s more that’s right!

Life is fleeting so take each day as it comes.
The sun comes up, the sun goes down.
Nature still changes from blues to browns.

With all that’s wrong there’s more that’s right!

Turn off the boob tube.
Turn on your inner light bulb.
Keep up the good fight.

With all that’s wrong there’s more that’s right!

It’s Fri-Yay Funday after all!

Thanks for making a positive difference in the world to the Three Families that opened their homes to EVERYONE!

We went back to our ole stomping grounds with the babies where we used to live. We sold our home to my mom and Step Dad in Menlo Park, California years ago and we used to bring all of our friends and their families there since it was the place to be. My mom made dinner for everyone which was about 40 people and we had a ball. They were both such gracious hosts.

This year we found the streets barren which was really sad and understandable. Even in our area where you think you are safe, there are lots of burglaries which has everyone on high alert.

We went down one block where there were massive parties going on where everyone was invited. It was surreal and I couldn’t stop wondering who these people were that would open up their homes to everyone this day and age. They get over 1,000 people and the food and drink they handed out to everyone was unbelievable and the decorations were incredible. They assured me there was plenty of security that could and couldn’t be seen.

If by chance the 3 families are reading me, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had a ball!

Thanks for stopping in and making my Fri-Yayyy special.

Make everyday moments memorable as we are not promised tomorrow.

Hugs and love to those that are mourning and undergoing hard times.

💗🙏🏼🤲🏽

Cindy

Sienna didn’t make the cut for the last post until I just added it.. so here she is. I hope she likes Santa more than the pumpkin.

I share your optimism, Cindy. The media understandably focuses on the wars, crime,
and corruptness of government, but even with all that, there is so much more goodness in the world.

That photo of Sienna is the perfect example of all the good. What’s could be more precious than a child being born into a loving family?

This is such an uplifting post, Cindy. Thanks for sharing and little Sienna is so darn cute! Our neighborhood has been dead on Halloween for the last several years and it’s so sad too. When our kids were little, the streets used to be teeming with adorable and excited trick-or-treaters. Oh well, we have the memories. 🙂 Hugs! 🧡🎃👻🍁

Love the spider web. I think I would be making a fuss if someone put me in a pumpkin. Super Mario and SM characters were popular costumes. At least at the doctor’s office. Several staff, nurses and my doctor were donning Super Mario costumes when I went to the doctor on Halloween.

Thank you for your positive words, Cindy! Our new neighborhood doesn’t have too many young families. We went to my daughter’s neighborhood for trick-or-treating. All the homes were decorated and open for the kids. It took us hour and a half to walk half a mile for the grandkids to visit all the home. It looked like the shcool was out and all the kids were on the streets all at once. We have security cameras for our home and they recorded 14 families came to our door. Next year, we’ll leave some candies out on our .

Sienna is so cute but I’m not sure if she liked the pumpkin. Yes, she would like Santa Clause better.

What a wonderful thing to find gracious hosts in these times when everything seems barren. There’s light at the end of the tunnel and sometimes spooky lights of Halloween can turn into a friendly gesture. 🎃
